Marina Militare Nastro Rosa Tour 2026: our experience along the Italian coast

From 19 June to 6 July we followed the Marina Militare sailing tour of Italy, stage after stage.

From 19 June to 6 July our vehicles travelled along the coasts of central and southern Italy with a precise and, let’s admit it, far from ordinary brief: supporting the Marina Militare along the stages of the Marina Militare Nastro Rosa Tour 2026.

An assignment that does not come along every day, and one we took on with the same care and attention we bring to every service, knowing that this time the context was different.

Let’s start from the beginning: what is the Nastro Rosa Tour?

The Marina Militare Nastro Rosa Tour is the sailing tour of Italy organised by the Italian Navy and promoted by the Ministry of Defence. A travelling event that crosses the ports of the peninsula from June to July, combining sailing competition, institutional initiatives and openness to local communities.

This is no ordinary regatta. It is one of the most closely followed nautical events in Italy, present all along the coast and carrying a symbolic value that goes well beyond sport.

Every port that hosts a stage becomes, for a few days, a meeting point between institutions, athletes, local communities and the public.

We at Cianfrocca Logistics Ways were there, behind the scenes, making sure everything worked.

Our role: from port to port

Our task was to move the materials needed to run the event from one stage to the next.

Structures, equipment, everything an organisation of that scale needs to be ready every time the boats moor in a new port.

The route we followed:
Taranto → Syracuse → Tropea → Naples → Portoferraio

Five stages, more than a week of coordinated operations, with all the variables each port brings with it. Tight schedules, logistics to be recalibrated on the move, standards to be kept constant wherever we were.

This is exactly the kind of challenge where logistics transport is really measured: not on a single delivery, but on the ability to keep the pace along a complex route.

A partnership that made the difference

Alongside us, throughout the tour, was Green Planet Logistics, official partner of the Nastro Rosa Tour. A direct, practical collaboration, with no extra layers.

When you work with people who already know the area and the event, things move better.

What we take away

Coming back from an experience like this confirms that our approach works outside the daily routine as well. Off the usual paths, off the established routes.

Working alongside the Marina Militare, in an institutional and highly visible context, was a source of pride for the whole team.

But it was also a real test: deliveries on time, precise coordination, no room for approximation.

We came back with a few more kilometres on the wheels and confirmation of something we already know: that doing this job well, every time, is the only way to do it.
